Unhappy? Maybe It’s Not WHAT You’re Doing, But HOW You’re Doing It.

Jun 9, 2022

Although the past month gave me some valuable time with family and the opportunity to re-charge and re-energize, an unexpected situation has delayed my return as I focus my time at the bedside of a loved one.

So I’ve decided to share a video from my 2021 vault. One that had a lot of powerful feedback and really resonated with many of you. It’s about self awareness and engagement.

If you missed it, check out the video here!

It also allowed me to reflect on what I’m currently dealing with. Being aware of all the shifting and changing around me – AND an exciting announcement! Keep reading!

I’m sure many of you agree that there’s a lot of noise out there. On line, social media, the news – and of course – life!

So how can you sort through the distractions and focus on what it is you want? To engage in the steps necessary to create any changes that will bring joy in your life.

One of the first things you want to do is just breathe! Yes, really!

Find a comfortable, quiet spot to sit. Then inhale deeply through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth. Truly focus on the sound and feeling of each breath as it enters into your body and then back out.

As you’re focusing on that, it will actually create a different sensation in all your muscles. Your shoulders will lower, your body will relax and you’ll become more aware of how you’re feeling.

At that point, as you continue breathing, ask yourself, honestly and without judgement, “What is it that I’m creating?” and “What is it that I need to focus on to create that?”

You see, so often we know WHAT we want to create. Just thinking of it brings you joy. It feels right and we instinctively know that it’ll make us happy.

But the key is also deciding HOW to create it. Engaging in the how and why.

Whether it’s a better relationship, more money, working on your body – or whatever else you desire, put it out there and let the Universe know what it is that you want to create.

Spending these past few weeks has given me time to reflect on some of the things I’ve created in all areas of my life. Not just the “whats” – but the “hows”.

It led to a couple of big revelations!

The first, was I truly missed working more closely through my one on one coaching sessions with my clients through my popular Laser Focus Coaching.

The second revelation was launching my NEW Motivational Mindset Mondays!

I realized, especially during my time at the hospital these past few days, that our Mindset is essential to creating in life.

Be sure to watch my new Motivational Mindset Moments where I’ll share juicy tips, tricks and advice on the importance – and impact of a healthy mindset.

There’s truly unlimited power in our mindset.
