Want to Become More Intuitive? Focus on Gratitude!

Aug 18, 2022

You know that feeling when you’re trying to concentrate and think clearly – but there’s too much noise and way too many distractions – either internally or externally?

It makes it impossible to tune in, focus and think without a clear head.

Our intuition works in a similar way.

So, what’s the most effective way we can tune out – and tap in?

Being grateful and appreciating what it is that we DO have!

Research has shown that there is a connection between feeling gratitude and our cardiovascular and physical health.

In fact, our brain releases the hormones dopamine and serotonin – our feel-good hormones – when we feel appreciation.

When we feel good, our heart, body and mind become harmonic, developing a delicious congruency.

As a result, we’re more in tune with what we’re feeling, hearing, and seeing. We get these whispers of awareness! We become more intuitive – and in tune with our inner voice!

Still unsure of the connection?

Consider how your entire body reacts when you’re feeling stressed, anxious, afraid, or frustrated.

Negative thoughts race through our mind, our heart pounds, palms sweat and our stomach knots up!

Our entire body and being, is affected!

That’s why I want you to start asking yourself – what is it that I’m celebrating today?

It’s something I remind my students in the Congruent Living Academy to ask themselves every day.

Maybe you’re grateful for waking up to a new day – or being able to get out of bed with ease. Is it appreciating the beautiful sunrise – or sunset, your spouse, children, health, home? … get the idea?

Too often, we’ll find ourselves, self imposing a whole contracted viewpoint of what it is we don’t have.

This simply minimises our successes and suppresses  our intuitive senses. It’s an emotionally heavy undertaking that takes a physical and psychological toll.

Instead, ask yourself this question

Is thinking this way bringing me closer to my targets in life, to living a life I would love

Take a moment

Breathe that question in

Take an aerial view of what’s working for you and what isn’t

then tap into your future, one you would love, and appreciate that you have the awareness, understanding and strength to turn it around.

Creating with your Intuition is all about noticing what feels good– what’s here for us to be truly grateful for.

So tune into your sixth sense, inviting yourself to open up and use your intuition to create and act on creating a life you truly desire.

And when you do

Let me know what awareness this creates for you

Now more than ever is the time to not only discover and embrace all that we have to be grateful for – but to diminish the noise so we can hear those beautiful whispers of awareness, to help us create the life we genuinely want!
