When was the last time you leaned into your intuition?
Have you ever found yourself at a crossroads in life, unsure of which path to take?
Maybe you’re feeling frustrated that you haven’t achieved your dreams or wondering how you ended up where you are. The good news is that you have a powerful tool at your disposal: your intuition.
Intuition is that gut feeling or whisper of awareness that we all have inside of us. As children, we often relied on our intuition to guide us towards things that brought us joy and away from things that didn’t.
But as we grow older, we can forget this powerful tool and start making choices based on what we think we “should” do, rather than what truly aligns with our purpose.
One of the first steps in tapping into your intuition is to become aware of it. Some people describe intuition as a gut feeling or following their knowing.
Others say it’s a whisper of awareness. Whatever your experience of intuition is, it’s important to pay attention to it and trust it.
For example, have you ever walked past a store and felt drawn to go inside, even if you weren’t sure what you were looking for? Or you’ve met someone and had an immediate sense of connection or disconnection. These are all examples of your intuition at work.
To begin tapping into your intuition, try the following exercises:
- Journaling: Take a few minutes each day to write down any intuitive hits you receive. It could be a feeling, a thought, or a sign that catches your attention. Write it down and see where it leads you.
- Meditation: Set aside some time each day to sit quietly and tune into your intuition. Focus on your breath and allow any thoughts or feelings to come up without judgment. Notice what arises and see if you can trust it.
- Body awareness: Our bodies often hold clues about our intuition. Pay attention to any physical sensations you feel when making decisions. Do you feel tense or relaxed? Excited or nervous? Trust these sensations and let them guide you.
By practicing these exercises, you can begin to trust your intuition more and make choices that align with your purpose.
As you do so, you’ll find yourself living a life filled with joy and fulfillment.
Remember, your intuition is a powerful tool that you have at your disposal. Don’t be afraid to trust it and let it guide you towards a life you love!
“Intuition is the highest form of intelligence, transcending all individual abilities and skills.”
