I’ve been there too. In the past, I was caught in this very cycle, pouring all my energy into “my business” or “my relationship,” desperately trying to force change and hammer out solutions that had worked for me before. But did they work?

What I now know for sure is that embracing a new way of listening—to myself, my business, and what life asks me—has been much kinder to both my body and my creative aspirations. Instead of forcing solutions, I’ve learned to live in the question, allowing everything to unfold for the highest good, even when things get tough. Trusting in the wisdom of my intuition and embracing this ongoing process of self-discovery has transformed my life.

Thanks to the interplay of mindset, mindfulness, and congruent living over the last decade, I’ve found peace in receiving, observing, and practicing stillness. I no longer feel the need to jump into action or prove myself right at the expense of others.

This was my experience as well, and it was this desire for change, this knowing that there was more to life, that propelled me to go back to college in my 30s, earn my master’s in my 40s, have my artwork celebrated in my 50s, and continue my personal growth journey into my 60s and beyond. My journey led me to certifications in life coaching, non-violent communication, quantum healing, and positive psychology. I’ve continued to explore trauma work and The Compassion Key well into my 70s.
