When was the last time you felt genuinely happy about something you achieved?

But here’s the shift: when you start to honor who you truly are—in what you do and how you show up—your life begins to change.

My Turning Point

For years, I had a pattern of letting myself down. I would avoid opportunities, skip out on events created just for me, or back away from new relationships and business ventures because deep down I was scared. I thought people would eventually discover I wasn’t as capable or confident as they believed.

That cycle of self-judgment gave me endless reasons to feel “not enough.”

What changed was when I began doing the deep inner work—reflection, self-compassion, and questioning the old stories I had been telling myself. I realized I could choose differently, and that realization opened the door to transformation.

3 Simple Strategies That Helped Me Reset

1. Ask Better Questions

Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?” I asked:
What’s one small step I can take today to move forward?
What can I receive that the universe has for me right now?

These kinds of questions opened possibilities instead of shutting me down.


2. Take Small Actions—and Celebrate Them

Confidence doesn’t come from big wins. It comes from small, consistent steps. Every action, no matter how tiny, became proof that I was moving forward.


3. Honor Your Word to Yourself

This meant focusing on one goal at a time and completing it before moving on. Following through built trust with myself, which created the momentum I had been missing.


Why It Works

Change doesn’t happen by simply “thinking positive.” Real transformation comes from action. New actions create new feelings, and those feelings reinforce new beliefs. That cycle is what builds confidence and allows us to see ourselves in a new light.

The universe has your back. And so do I.
