Are you willing to ask yourself these tough question?

Mar 9, 2023

Have you ever felt like you’re not living the life you were meant to live?

That you’re just going through the motions, day after day, without any real sense of purpose or direction?

If so, you’re not alone. Many of us go through life feeling unfulfilled like something is missing.

The truth is, we all have a purpose. We all possess deliciously unique gifts and talents that are meant to be shared with the world. But sometimes, we get so caught up in the daily grind that we forget to take a step back and ask ourselves, “What am I really here to do?”

It’s important to remember that your life is your own. You are the only one who can create the life you want. And unless you’re willing to be really honest with yourself and take an aerial view of how you’re creating your life, you may not even know what your next vision is.

Who are you creating your life for?

So, ask yourself: Who are you creating your life for? Is it working for you? Or is there something that you’ve always wanted to create but put to sleep because of fear or uncertainty?

That’s exactly what happened to me.

When I was younger, I went to Philadelphia College of Art, but I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do. I remember calling my parents one night and telling them that I wanted to be an art therapist. Although I didn’t pursue that path at the time, somewhere deep inside of me, there was a desire to connect with people and show them a different possibility.

Years later, when I was lying in bed, suffering from heavy metal poisoning, I asked myself, “Whose life is this?” I realized that I needed to take an aerial view of my world. I had to figure out what I was asking to create with, since working in my studio painting and printmaking was off the board due to the heavy metal poisoning.

It was then that it hit me! I remembered that I had always put aside investigating the connection of body, mind, and spirit. I wanted to find out where it was that I had stopped listening to my body and inhaling all those vapors in my studio. As I delved into homeopathy, quantum healing, and other modalities, I realized that there was another life here for me. I thought, “Wow, if I’m not a painter, who am I?”

Through my journey, I discovered a passion for transformational healing, which eventually led me to where I am today. I started following the tugs of mindfulness that said, “Go here.” I took baby steps and listened to the whispers of awareness within me.

Now, I’m a motivational speaker in women’s collectives, talking about living a fearless life, and I’m also involved as the creator of The Congruent Method and The Congruent Living Academy.

So, what’s the lesson here? Life shifts and changes as you grow and go through this journey.

But if you’re willing to put your life first, to ask yourself the tough questions and listen to the tugs of consciousness within you, you can create the life you were meant to live.

It doesn’t have to be a seismic shift. It’s about following the whispers of awareness and taking baby steps towards your vision.

The most important thing I’ve learned about personal transformation is that without a target and accountability, you’ll just drift. It’s not about achieving external success. It’s about becoming in alignment with who you are, what you came here to do, and what you’re asking to create in the world.

So, take a step back and ask yourself, “What is it that I’ve always wanted to create? What has been in hibernation? What are the tugs of awareness within me?”

It’s time to start listening to, and nurturing your vision,

What is it that you’ve always dreamed of doing or being? Please share in the comments below!

Here’s to living a life you love.
